Every year for my birthday, I will get myself a birthday gift as a consolation. Ahh! You caught me, this is juz bullshit coz I always go out there getting stuffs for myself. Keke. ^^"

Anyway, I had started to get pretty interested with Shappo, a rabbit from Sentimental Circus, by San-X, ever since I came across it. And soon enough, I am already starting the collection. XD

Every year when it comes to my birthday, I will always expect a surprise from Mini. Oh wait, its only the 2nd year where we started to get closer. But well, she never fails to shower me with love! Keke. ^^"

Five days prior to my birthday, I am already receiving birthday prezzies from her. All becoz I told her I should expect birthday prez from her from 5 days onwards before my actual day, which was supposedly meant to be a joke. But omo! She really kept that in mind and make it come true. One similes I always uses, as silly as mini. X)

I don't actually remembers how I got this prez from her. It was so random and its quite common for us to give each other gifts. Thus it did not came to my mind that it was actually my birthday gift.


Day 1 - Thursday, 13th October 2011

That day when I went shopping for "my birthday gift" with Mini, saw this Shappo plushie hugging a Toto and said I want to steal the Toto away. Of course I didn't and this is why I'm getting one for my birthday! ^^~

I was guessing that it was either a rabbit or a bear (Korilakkuma) in it. But after her cheekly taunt on my incorrect guess, I told her I don't want it! Meh! I'm so bad!

She told me to open it up and return it to her. Well, I did so but quickly stuff Toto into my pocket, then re-wrapped the present and shove it back to her. She was shocked and thought I already own a Toto (probably she thot I went back to steal the Toto). And yeah, I already own a Toto when I found it inside the wrapper. Lol! We ended up surprising each other.

Day 2 - Friday, 14th October 2011


Mini was busy on day 2 and so I brought lunch to her office to have lunch with her. But she stop me from entering her office coz she doing something sneaky. ㅡㅡ" So I waited for her at the pantry and she appeared with this Sentimental Circus paper bag!

Guess what's inside? I can have a new camera pouch! ^^

Was actually thinking what I could use to put this pouch into good use. Eventually thought to keep all those small Shappo I have, but Mini suggested I could use it as my camera pouch. Quite stupid of me to not think of it since my previous camera pouch was quite small.

And this gave me an idea to store my Sentimental Circus tags in the love box I got on Day 1 which was used to hide Toto.

Day 3 & 4 - Saturday, 15th October 2011 & Sunday, 16th October 2011


Since I won't be seeing Mini on Sunday, I told her she have to gimme my both my Saturday and Sunday prez. And as usual, she took my words seriously.

After having 2 days of prezzies, I became sensitive when I see prez. But this time round, Mini did not give me the prez immediately. Instead, she leave me there to keep touching the prez but dare not take it coz she never say its mine. So malu for me and clever of her! ㅜㅜ And guess what?

It really touches me that Mini actually remember whatever I said. Even it was juz some casual remarks I made. 幸せだ! ^^

 To add on to my Sentimental Circus collection, I also receive prez from my eldest sis! Thou I was the one who requested for it. Keke. Despite knowing what's inside, I'm still curious what is it. ^^"

Day 5 - Monday, 17th October 2011



One day before my birthday and the prez is getting bigger! Keke.

Actual Day - Tuesday, 18th October 2011


On Monday past midnight, Meow asked if I want her to bring me to Night Safari (ㅡㅡ") or give me an ang pow for my birthday prez. But I told her I want a Shappo hug Toto plushie! After showing her the Shappo my sis gave me and the Toto Mini gave me, she agreed to get one for me. Yay! XD

And so she asked me to wake her up later before I go out for work and she will go get it before she starts work in the afternoon. Hajiman!!! She didn't wake up the next day despite calling her a few times! ㅜㅜ Thus I juz left her to sleep.

I slept very early on Monday, prolly coz I was sad that I am not going to get the Shappo hug Toto plushie today. Juz joking. I was juz too tired. Bleah!


Woke up very early on Tuesday morning coz I needa wake my brother up. And when I turn my head out from my brother's room, I was shock by something on my desk!

Everyday I shock, shock! Every night I shock, shock!

Eventually I thought I won't be getting it on my birthday since Meow didn't wake up when I leave the house earlier that day. I seriously thought she won't wake up juz to get me a Shappo, but she actually told me she woke up right after I left the house. Sweet! ^^

9:06AM! Officially my 25th birthday!

When I reach office, another Shappo awaits for me. Not from Mini thou, but from a warehouse guy whom was quite close to me at work. Don't think wrongly, we are juz friends at work. And he is an Indian who is going back to India prolly next year.

Don't know why every time when I mention a guy giving me prez or giving me a lift, people will always comment that they like me is it. ㅡㅡ" Seriously there aren't any friends relationship between a male and female on meh?

Seriously its hard to give me a birthday surprise especially when I'm already expected one. Aigoo! Where got people like me so bu yao lian one. Lol! But still I was surprised by my birthday lunch.. a pretty small pink piggy cake!

Mini actually went all the way to Tampines Mall to go get my fave Scallop Express Teppan-yaki. She actually told me she's gonna meet the manager and asked me to wait for her for lunch, seriously she is a person who doesn't knows how to tell lies. Keke.

And me, so bad. I tried to cheat her that I know she didn't go to meet the manager coz the manager called to look for her. Guess what? She actually buys it. Lol! XD


That night, we actually planned to go Compass Point food court to eat the Korean cuisine. Yeah, on my birthday but I didn't think that's anything wrong with it. Eventually thought its juz her and me but end up another surprise was awaiting for me.

Guess who we saw halfway at Sengkang? Money's car! But end up it wasn't even a coincidence. ㅡㅡ"

Birthday cake from Mr & Mrs Money!

Happened that both Mini and Money got the birthday cake from the same shop. And this time round it was a small cake, all of us have bad experience with large cake. Lol.

That night Mini sent me home and gave me my last prez. And coz we stayed till quite late, thus she had to spend her night in Singapore and cannot return back to Malaysia since its consider another new day if she cannot get back by 2am and she have to pay another amount for driving into Singapore.

Like I said, bigger and bigger. XD

Shappo Pillow!

This was the pillow I regretted for not buying coz it went out of stock but Mini got it for me. Till now she is still unwilling to tell me where she got all these Sentimental Circus products.


And this one and only Shappo bouquet was only part of the artwork and hard work of hers, thou it was supposedly a prezent from her brother. And those pink wrapper were chose by Mini herself knowing that I like pink. ^^

Guess this Shappo gonna be stucked in there forever.

Not to forget the big ang pow from my department colleagues where Mini "organize" and received quite a few of people who feedback that they wish to receive the same amount of love as me. Tsk! Pu-lease! Asking for something you don't deserve? Muggles! ㅡㅡ"""

Thou I have not found the full face helmet that I'm willing to spend the amount even thou it wasn't my money. Aigoo! Maybe I should juz get the white full face helmet and spray some Sentimental Circus design on it. Lol.
